Here are a few players that I will be targeting on the waiver wire this week who are currently available in most leagues and some other notes I find useful:
- The Mets are scheduled to face a plethora of right-handed pitchers this week, creating a great opportunity to sign their new pickups in platoon advantages. We like both Tyler Naquin (OF, 90% owned) and Daniel Vogelbach (DH, 92% available).
- If you're one of the lucky few to find Baltimore Orioles' Adley Rutschman (30% available) on the free agent list, I would scoop him up before a soft week against seven right-handed starting pitchers.
- The San Francisco Giants head to Coors Field this week, making almost all of their batters good options.
- Rowan Wick (RP, 70% available) has been given all of the Chicago Cubs' save opportunities since the Cubbies traded away their closer, David Robertson. Wick has been on a hot streak and has not conceded an earned run since early July.
