Fantasy Baseball Week 7 is approaching! We are going to keep things short this week and discuss a few players that I will be targeting on the waiver wire and who are currently available in most leagues:
- The Minnesota Twins have a relatively soft schedule this week with games against both the Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals, all at home. We will be targeting both of their top closer options, Jhoan Duran (RP, 83% owned) and Emilio Pagan (RP, 88% owned).
- For the Tampa Bay Rays, Shane McClanahan (SP, 96% owned) is scheduled to make two starts this week. For the Oakland Athletics', James Kaprielian (SP, 97% owned) is scheduled to start twice as well.
- The Cincinnati Reds not only play seven games in their hitter-friendly park this week, but are also scheduled to face four left-handed starting pitchers. We will target Brandon Drury (2B, 3B, OF 59% owned) and Tyler Stephenson (C, 11% owned), who both have great splits against LHP.
