Fantasy Baseball Weekly Notes (May 30-June 5)

Life can be crazy sometimes. As a smaller outfit here, we try to share experiences on a personal level with you all. This week, I got the pleasure of attending a wedding halfway across the country for an old friend that I have known for over two decades and then having my return flight canceled at the last minute. In short, my MDW was spent driving 19 hours home. I hope you all got to enjoy a hot dog and a cold one for me.

As such, we are keeping things short again this week, but worry not, FTO has big news for June that we will announce soon. More directly, we will expand on our weekly notes in the coming weeks and if you do want more info now, please never hesitate to reach out through any contact method we have on our site (comments, email, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Discord). In the meantime, here are a few players that I will be targeting on the waiver wire and who are currently available in most leagues:

- Tampa Bay's Drew Rasmussen (SP, 80% owned) is currently scheduled to make two starts this week. Heading into Week 8, Rasmussen has a 2.68 ERA, 41 strikeouts, and 5 wins. If he is still available in your league, we consider Rasmussen a must-add, even if you miss his Monday start.

- The Chicago Cubs are not having the best season, but it is hard to ignore their, league-high, nine-scheduled games for this week. Christopher Morel (2B, 3B, OF ,8% owned) has hit well lately and should see the most ABs while hitting from the leadoff spot. Frank Schwindel (1B, 60% owned) has hit well from the heart of the Cubbies lineup. Patrick Wisdom (1B, 3B, OF, 70% owned) is a streaky hitter who is also worth considering this week.
