Genesis Scottish Open 2022

It has been a while since we’ve posted our PGA plays here, but we could not have picked a better time to get things going again with a very solid group of golfers competing at this weekend’s Genesis Scottish Open. This week, we will focus more on strokes gained on approach, greens in regulation, strokes gained off the tee, birdie or better scoring, and strokes gained putting. Weather-wise, there is rain and heavy wind in the forecast throughout the weekend. Weather is always a factor and subject to change, so checking DFS lineups closer to lock will be crucial. In this post, we use our full set of metrics and highlight some of our favorite golfers in the competition:


Justin Thomas ($10,600-DK; +1400 to win)

Thomas has been in great form this season and we do not see him slowing down this week. He has also finished inside the top 10 at this event in 2019 and 2021.


Jordan Spieth ($8,900-DK; +3000 to win)

Spieth is way too cheap on this slate below $9k and I would still consider him in the $10k range. He has not played at the Renaissance Club before, but Spieth has proven that he can succeed on a links course.


Aaron Rai ($7,400-DK; +6000 to win)

When Rai won this event in 2020, the weather was sloppy just like it looks to be this weekend. Rai is solid on par 4s and
