We saw the Las Vegas Raiders and the Jacksonville Jaguars play in the Hall of Fame Game, but before the rest of the league plays, let's rank each team heading into the pre-season:
1. Los Angeles Rams
It's going to take a hard sell for us to remove the defending champs from the top of our ranks. We expect Allen Robinson to have a better season than Odell Beckham Jr. had last year.
2. Buffalo Bills
After crushing the draft, on both sides of the ball, and signing Von Miller, a veteran with two Super Bowl rings, the Bills have an objectively loaded roster. Buffalo is the team to beat in the AFC.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gronk or no Gronk, Tom Brady has plenty of weapons. This team is built to make at least one more deep run.
4. Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Brrrrr will probably miss a few games, but he will be healthy soon. Nobody will want to play against Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase this season.
5. Denver Broncos
I have not seen anyone else rank the Broncos this high. They all forgot just how good Russell Wilson is. Russ will cook.
6. Kansas City Chiefs
The loss of Tyreek Hill will not slow this team down for a second. Mahomes still has more weapons and talent than he is currently getting credit for.
7. Los Angeles Chargers
The Bolts are another absolutely loaded roster. Their biggest struggle will be playing in the most talented division in the AFC. It is crazy to think Herbert could be the worst QB in his own division.
8. Green Bay Packers
I struggled so much looking for a team to put above the Packers here. With DaVante Adams gone, it is hard to believe Aaron Rodgers and the Pack will be true contenders.
9. Baltimore Ravens
Here's another team that I did not want to put in my top 10. Lamar is good enough to beat up on bad teams, but then what?
10. San Francisco 49ers
Trey Lance has way too little experience, but this defense is elite. San Fran is built to go as far as Lance can take them, but in these ranks, they could easily be flipped with the Raiders.
11. Las Vegas Raiders
12. Tenessee Titans
13. Indianapolis Colts
14. New England Patriots
15. Dallas Cowboys
16. Arizona Cardinals
17. New Orleans Saints
18. Pittsburgh Steelers
19. Minnesota Vikings
20. Philadelphia Eagles
21. Cleveland Browns
22. Miami Dolphins
23. Washington Commanders
24. New York Giants
25. Carolina Panthers
26. Seattle Seahawks
27. New York Jets
28. Detroit Lions
29. Chicago Bears
30. Atlanta Falcons
31. Jacksonville Jaguars
32. Houston Texans
