NHL Power Rankings: March 2022
It has been too long since we’ve updated our NHL power rankings, so we decided to rank the entire league from top to bottom:
1. Colorado Avalanche
The Avs, who hold the league’s best record, have looked like the best offense in hockey.
2. Florida Panthers
No goaltender, no problem. Hopefully.
3. Carolina Hurricanes
This Carolina squad is good enough to lift the Stanley Cup as constructed and they plan to actively improve at the deadline.
4. Calgary Flames
Young talent is shining in Calgary. Matthew Tkachuk is scoring over a point-per-game.
5. Tampa Bay Lightning
Injuries have derailed most of this season, but the Bolts aren’t back-to-back defend champs because they lack depth.
6. Toronto Maple Leafs
7. Pittsburgh Penguins
8. St. Louis Blues
9. New York Rangers
10. Minnesota Wild
11. Boston Bruins
12. Vegas Golden Knights
13. Los Angeles Kings
