We are going to keep this short this week and give you the most important information. Instead of breaking down the course and metrics, we will use this post to very briefly highlight some of our favorite golfers in the competition:
John Rahm ($11,500-DK; +800 to win)
Rahm is in excellent form and is well deserving of his top salary designation in this event. He also has excellent course history.
Collin Morikawa ($10,700-DK; +1600 to win)
Morikawa won the most recent Major and ranks first in our model in approach, tee to green, striking, and strokes gained on approach. He may be a chalky play, but there is no chance that we fade him.
Paul Casey ($8,700-DK; +2800 to win)
Casey is our top value play and a lock in our cash game lineups. Casey has made 9 of his last 10 cuts and is a great bet to finish top 5 (+550).
Cam Smith ($8,500-DK; +4000 to win)
Smith is one of the better short game golfers in the field this week. Smith is a great birdie maker, which is huge for DK scoring, and enters this event in excellent form.
Jhonny Vegas ($8,100-DK; +10000 to win)
While Smith is an excellent birdie maker, Vegas stands out as a bogey avoider. Vegas is in excellent form lately and his ability to play tee to green will help him greatly at this course.
Jason Kokrak ($7,700-DK; +6500 to win)
Kokrak stands out in our models and his game is perfectly tailored to succeed at this Jersey City course. There is some reason for concern with how little Kokrak has done since the start of the PGA season.
Cameron Tringale ($7,300-DK; +9000 to win)
Tringale plays well on this course, mainly due to his excellent play around the green. Tringale has also been putting very well lately and will certainly find a spot in our cash game lineups.
Brian Stuard ($6,500-DK; +25000 to win)
Stuard is in excellent form and has four top 20s in his last five events. You cannot beat that at this price.
