The winner of the Players Championship will take home $3.6 million, a massive jump from last season’s $2.5 million prize. This week, we will focus more on strokes gained on approach, greens in regulation, strokes gained off the tee, birdie or better scoring, and strokes gained putting. Weather-wise, there is rain in the forecast for every day except Sunday. Weather is always a factor and subject to change, so checking DFS lineups closer to lock will be crucial. Justin Thomas ($10,400-DK; +1000 to win)
There is some concern about the defending champ of this event, who has not won another event since, but he has finished in the top 20 in four separate events to start the 2022 season. Thomas ranks 10th in strokes gained on approach, fourth in strokes gained tee-to-green, sixth in greens in regulation, and fifth in bogey avoidance.
Adam Scott ($8,200-DK; +3000 to win)
Scott is way too cheap for his value on this slate. He has finished in the top 10 three times already this season. He will be a top cash play for us.
