All four major championships are behind us, but there is still plenty of money to be made in the world of DFS golf. For this season’s 3M Open, we will focus more on strokes gained on approach, greens in regulation, strokes gained off the tee, bogey avoidance, and strokes gained putting. Weather-wise, it will be hot this weekend with a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday. Weather is always a factor and subject to change, so checking DFS lineups closer to lock will be crucial. In this post, we use our full set of metrics and highlight some of our favorite golfers in the competition:
Davis Riley ($9,000-DK; +2200 to win)
After a long week of golf and travel for most of the elite golfers, we are looking to the mid-tier for our plays this week. Davis Riley might be the best golfer in this tournament that did not play last weekend. Riley ranks top-50 on Tour in nearly all of our key categories this week.
Brendan Steele ($8,300-DK; +4000 to win)
A long course like we have here plays perfectly into Steele’s game. The only issue is his putting. Still, we like Steele in cash games with seven straight made cuts under his belt. Steele also made the cut last time playing in this event in 2019.
Emiliano Grillo ($7,600-DK; +6500 to win)
Grillo enters this weekend fairly cheap considering his form lately. He also has great course history, finishing third at this event two years ago.
