Each week, we will break down the DFS main slate for the weekend on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Let’s get right to it:
Quarterback:
Jalen Hurts (DK-$7,300; FD-$8,400) – Hurts is way too cheap on DK, considering how poorly the Giants defense has played this season. Hurts will be a safe cash play this weekend.
Cam Newton (DK-$5,600; FD-$8,000) – Cam’s price has gone up, but barely. From a fantasy perspective, this is an absolute smash spot on DK.
Runningback:
Jonathan Taylor (DK-$9,100: FD-$9,800) – Sure, the pricing is outrageous, but so is the production. Taylor’s been on a hot streak and widening the gap between himself and the next best RB.
Dontrell Hilliard (DK-$6,100; FD-$7,200) – AP didn’t work out, but Hilliard has proven serviceable in his attempt to fill the massive hole left by Henry’s injury. Great cash value here.
Wide Receiver:
Cooper Kupp (DK-$9,600; FD-$9,500) – Kupp is another one of those players that is very tough to fade this season. Woods is gone and Odell is not special. Kupp is a safe play in all formats.
Kadarius Toney (DK-$5,200; FD-$5,600) – For those looking for a cheaper WR option, we like Toney against this underwhelming PHI defense.
Elijah Moore (DK-$5,600; FD-$6,400) – Moore is another young New York WR who has recently exploded with a few consecutive quality performances. He is definitely viable on both sites, but priced better on DK.
Tight End:
Dallas Goedert (DK-$4,800; FD-$5,900) – It is hard to remember the last time the Giants were able to stop, or even slow down, an opposing team’s TE. Goedert is a great value play in all formats this weekend.
Rob Gronkowski (DK-$4,400; FD-$6,500) – Somehow priced even cheaper, we love Gronk is GPP builds while Antonio Brown remains out with an injury.
Defense/Special Teams:
Carolina Panthers (DK-$3,100; FD-$4,700) – CAR find themselves in an excellent spot this week in a game with a very low projected total vs MIA.
Houston Texans (DK-$2,300; FD-$4,900) – The pricing on the two sites does not add up, but the Texans are a great value play on DK against a Jets team that has been awful on offense regardless of who they play at QB.
