NFL DFS: Week 6

Updated: Jan 14, 2022

Each week, we will break down the DFS main slate for the weekend on both Draft Kings and FanDuel. Let’s get right to it:

Quarterback:

Lamar Jackson (DK-$7,400; FD-$8,200) – Through five weeks, Lamar is the third highest scoring player on DK, including all positions. He finds himself in a great spot this week against a Chargers team that struggles against the run.

Taylor Heinecke (DK-$5,800; FD-$7,300) – Pure value play here. Heinicke is very cheap and will play against a terrible Chiefs defense.

Runningback:

Jonathan Taylor (DK-$6,600: FD-$7,500) – Taylor has looked better each week so far and now gets a favorable matchup against a Texans team that is expected to trail.

Darrel Williams (DK-$4,900; FD-$5,200) – It will be easy to find value at RB this week with plenty of back ups stepping into bigger roles due to injuries. Williams is way too cheap on both sites and a lock for our cash builds.

Wide Receiver:

DaVante Adams (DK-$9,000; FD-$8,700) – Adams’ price has shot up but it is still too low, especially on FanDuel, when considering his production. Through five weeks, Adams leads the league in targets with 61, which is 5 more than the next guy (Kupp).

DJ Moore (DK-$7,300; FD-$7,600) – We had Moore here last week and the week before as a clear cash game play and he paid off. His price is still way too low on both sites, especially on FD.

Kadarius Toney (DK-$5,600; FD-$6,000) – Toney had another monster week last week and with all the injuries on the Giants’ offense, he remains an elite cash game option.

Tight End:

Mark Andrews (DK-$5,200; FD-$6,300) – Through five weeks, Andrews is third among TE in total targets and only 5 targets behind Kelce. Being priced considerably cheaper, Andrews is an easy cash game lock.

Ricky Seals-Jones (DK-$3,000; FD-$5,000) – For those looking for a GPP flyer, we like Seals-Jones who has seemingly won the job from Logan Thomas. He will make for a great pairing w/ Heinecke or even on his own.

Defense/Special Teams:

Green Bay Packers (DK-$3,600; FD-$3,700) – Green Bay find themselves in a great spot here against a rookie quarterback and a Bears team that has struggled offensively all season.

Minnesota Vikings (DK-$2,900; FD-$3,700) – The Vikings are coming in at a great price against Sam Darnold who has struggled to protect the ball lately w/ 5 interceptions over the last two weeks.
