Each week, we will break down the DFS main slate for the weekend on both Draft Kings and FanDuel. Let’s get right to it:
Quarterback:
Lamar Jackson (DK-$7,400; FD-$8,400) – For cash builds, no QB comes with a safer floor.
Patrick Mahomes (DK-$8,400; FD-$8,800) – Mahomes is expensive, but he plays in a game with a high expected total this week against one of the league’s worst passing defenses (TEN).
Runningback:
Darrell Henderson Jr. (DK-$6,600: FD-$8,000) – The Rams are massive home favorites against the Lions, which means the script should allow Henderson a full workload.
Cordarrelle Patterson (DK-$6,300; FD-$8,000) – Patterson’s value on DK is too good to ignore. We will lock him into our cash builds.
Wide Receiver:
Tyreek Hill (DK-$8,500; FD-$8,600) – Hill is in a great spot this week against TEN and would be perfect to pair with Mahomes on both sites.
Sterling Shepard (DK-$5,600; FD-$6,500) – Shepard makes plenty of sense this week playing for a Giants offense that has been decimated with injuries this season.
Tight End:
Kyle Pitts (DK-$5,900; FD-$6,100) – Last time out, Pitts had a huge game in London, getting 10 targets. Ridley is back this week but the upside is there.
Ricky Seals-Jones (DK-$3,700; FD-$5,400) – Seals-Jones was here last week and paid off. His price has not gone up nearly enough. Cash lock.
Defense/Special Teams:
Arizona Cardinals (DK-$3,100; FD-$5,000) – The Cards are way too cheap on DK with them playing against the lowly Texans.
New York Jets (DK-$2,400; FD-$3,300) – The Jets make for an excellent punt play on both sites this week, facing a Patriots offense that ranks near the bottom of the league.
